News of her death was announced in a online announcement from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”

In a personal essay in November, it was shared that she had been suffering from AML, a form of leukemia with a specific genetic mutation.
This form of cancer is a malignancy that originates in the body's blood-forming tissues.
